I've made a cough syrup by macerating onions in either honey (older kids) or brown sugar (for babies) and it seemed to work pretty well! mothergoose518https://www.blogger.com/profile/02058678494556881794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2036860208185548803.post-11412938294553822202012-09-13T20:43:02.929-07:002012-09-13T20:43:02.929-07:00Hi Stephanie!

I had some questions about being a missionary midwife, and wondered if I could send you an email. My email address is sanka_pup@yahoo.com
Thanks!
KendraUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14274311367182802635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2036860208185548803.post-87117479361653461722012-09-09T22:45:32.598-07:002012-09-09T22:45:32.598-07:00Hi Sara,

However, I did make some of it without fermenting it and it worked beautifully. So there is that option as well.

Blessings on you and yours ~SWStephanie Williamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11235902861516585644noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2036860208185548803.post-24853365301442151372012-09-09T18:18:54.914-07:002012-09-09T18:18:54.914-07:00Hi,

I'm impressed with your homemade cough syrup! I've made some for our kids with honey, anise, thyme, and peppermint. I think it works as well as the store bought stuff without nasty chemicals. I'm guessing what you made is better since you have access to Eucalyptus leaves. You're so clever to have found a way to meet a need with what was readily available!
Blessings,
SaraSarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15735979471671299393noreply@blogger.com
